Description
This issue has been duplicated by the issue at CONFSERVER-25880 - Copy and Paste Row that contains Macro Breaks Row Paste. Please watch that issue for further updates and more detailed workarounds.
Description:
There’s a discrepancy between the behaviour of the shortcuts for cut/copy paste (table editing) on Confluence and the O.S. cut/copy paste. When using the Confluence shortcut in a table cell which is using a macro (e.g.: expand macro), pasting the content in another section of the table, the macro’s content is pasted into another cell, instead of remaining inside the macro; whereas when using the O.S. shortcut it does not happen and the content remains inside the cell.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a table in a Confluence page (e.g.: 4x4).
2. Select a table cell which is not in the heading row, and insert the expand macro with some content.
3. Cut this row and past it into a different section of the table using the Confluence shortcut.
Actual Results: The contents of the expand macro are pasted into another table cell.
Expected Results: The expand macro contents should remain inside of the expand macro.
This behaviour does not happen if you use the O.S. shortcut (cmd/ctrl + x/c and cmd/ctrl + v), only when using the Confluence shortcuts.
The same behaviour happens with other macros. e.g.: Section Macro, Column Macro, Info Macro, etc.
