Chart Macro throw Error in Preview Mode when Excel File or JIRA Macros embeded

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Create a Page.
      2. Insert a Chart Macro.
      3. Inserted a Office Excel macro or JIRA Macro into Chart Macro.
      4. Try to edit Chart Macro

      Expected Results:

      It must show the chart with JIRA Macro or Excel file content

      Actual Results:

      Following error appears in the preview page:

       Error rendering macro 'chart' : org.dom4j.DocumentException: Error on line 1 of document : The element type "img" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</img>". Nested exception: The element type "img" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</img>".

            Dear colleagues,

            I see the issue is major for a lot of customers but I don't see the issue will be fixed...

            Maybe someone knows a workaround for that case?

            I can't wait for this issue to be implemented....it has been a long wait and thanks to all the folks that are involved and especially to Atlassian for fixing the problem.

            All my bar charts are using JIRA queries to get the total count.

            We are having the same problem. We just upgraded Confluence to 5.10.8 and JIRA to 7.2.2 and all  my existing bar charts are not working. We got the same error message specified from above.

            We have upgraded Confluence 5.9.7 to 5.10.8 on Oct.23(Sun) and after upgrade several users have been encountering this issue now.
            Please assign anyone to this ticket and fix shortly.
