    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Such a property would make it easier to make archiving decisions.

      The existence of this feature would mean that a plugin such as Archiving Plugin for Confluence wouldn't have to implement it's own view tracking mechanism. The Atlassian team must be in a better position to implement this optimally in the Confluence core.

      Workaround

      The AO_92296B_AORECENTLY_VIEWED table will show the LAST_VIEW_DATE:

      SELECT * from "AO_92296B_AORECENTLY_VIEWED";

            [CONFSERVER-33386] Confluence should have a "last viewed date" property for pages.

            Is this the underlying reason why the "Recently Viewed" functionality in Confluence Cloud is broken?

            I think this would be a good implementation, since the SQL query brings data only for the recently viewed pages, not for all.

            When does an issue move from "Gathering interest" to "In progress"? Is there any timeline for when this feature might be available? It's 7 years since this was first requested

            I was writing a Macro to extract the last seen dates of the subpages and discovered I can retrieve the last modification date but not the last seen/visited date. I wish this will be added in the future to help us make more statistics for our spaces, and thus better manage the pages with high visit rates.

            I would have thought this feature request would have been made long ago, but it appears not - see https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/284630/why-doesn-t-confluence-provide-a-page-last-viewed-date-feature?page=1#285408.
