Unable to Preview Global Template Without Confluence-Administrators Access

      How to Reproduce

      1. Create a Global Template. Confirm preview works.
      1. Create another group to have the same Global Permissions as confluence-administrators. Ensure the permissions are exactly the same.
      1. Add your admin user to this group and remove access from confluence-administrators.
      1. Try to preview the template. Preview spins indefinitely.
      1. Add user back to group confluence-administrators, no need to edit Global Permissions. Confirm preview works again. 

      Happens in Firefox and in not Chrome (didn't test with Edge/Safari/etc.)

      Workaround

      • View in Chrome (Tested in Confluence 6.4.3 and 6.5.1)

      Tested in Confluence 6.11.2 the issue can be replicated even using browsers below:

      • Chrome (Version 70.0.3538.77 (Official Build) (64-bit))
      • Firefox (63.0 (64-bit))
      • Internet Explorer (Version 11.345.17134.0)
      • Edge (Microsoft EdgeHTML 17.17134)
