Image macro does not display a permission denied error message when add attachment permission is denied

      There is no nice user message in the GUI to tell a user that they do not have permission to add attachments (in this case an image) to a page when using the Image macro's (drag and drop or link functionality).

      Can you add something please?

            Hello - thank you for sending in this suggestion! Unfortunately, we do not have any plans to implement this in the foreseeable future. In order to set expectations correctly, we're closing this request now. If you'd like to describe more how this would help in your own use of Confluence, we may be able to provide better guidance.
