            I found a workaround that allowed me to bypass the wiki-markup pop-up and add the wiki-markup container to the page. Then I was able to paste in 4,476 lines of wiki-markup. The page converted and saved.

            1. Edit/Create a page.
            2. Type the following to make a Wiki Markup container on the page (FYI, it took up to 30 seconds to paste that many lines of text):
              {wiki-markup}

            3. Paste wiki markup over the text inside the container. (DO NOT delete the text first, as the container will disappear. Just paste over the text inside the container)
            4. Save the page and it will render.

            I received a report about this from a user this past week. We are using Confluence server 5.4.4. They are creating release notes with links to code reviews. Imagine the below example as 100 different links. The error pops up within seconds of clicking the Insert button.

            * [{color:#333333}i point to something{color}|http://www.google.com]

            I've also encountered this issue in 5.4.3 Download - When I use the insert macro I get the same error, but when I directly paste into the editor I get:

            •Your request could not be processed because a required security token was not present in the request. You may need to re-submit the form or reload the page.

            Hi Steve,

            The original problem was reported by me here: https://support.atlassian.com/browse/JST-91076
            Perhaps you can grab the markup file I added there?

            Best,

            Hi Shannon

            Thanks for raising this. Could you provide an example of some markup that causes this error to occur?
