Why has this issue low priority? It's very, very annoying! We get so many complaints from our users about this and to fix this should be pretty easy. Problem still exists in Confluence 5.10.5. Please fix! (Enterprise user)
I still experience this problem and it's very annoying. My system:
- OS X 10.10.5
- Chrome Version 45.0.2454.93
- Confluence 5.8.6
It works fine with the 'Preview' button:
but fails on the "Save" button:

added a comment - I see that for you it's reproducible with the Apple Symbol instead of a +. Maybe it's the width of the symbol?
Obviously I don't care about the formatting of the box but if it obstructs a significant part of the save button it's really annoying and confuses users (they think they can't save a document).

and not simply "CTRL+S". This extra text it what causes the box to get bigger.
I have another instance where the text is right and so is the box. Our initial install version must have had the text wrong and none of the updates since have touched it.
Is there a file where I can change the string in the install directory maybe?
This is what my other server looks like...

Could not reproduce this issue on IE9/IE10/IE11/Chrome/FF and Safari (confluence 5.7.1 and 5.8-Snapshot)
We've updated to 5.5.4 and the issue still exists. Where does the string come from that appears in the popup that opens? It must have not gotten touched by the updated but at this point I would like to just edit it. I was hoping the next update would fix it but here we are and a number of users find it annoying that they have to aim for the bottom half of the button every time...

Thank you for your interest in this ticket. The Confluence Server and Data Center team released a major upgrade to the editor in 6.14. Due to the age of this ticket and/or lack of updates, we suspect that this issue is no longer relevant or was resolved as a result of the upgrade and are now closing this ticket.
