Description
Problem:
When JIRA 6.1.3 integrate Confluence 5.4.1 using OAuth authentication, Confluence Activity Gadget will keep request approve button for an user to access even though already allowing the gadget to read and update data. It seem the OAuth authentication is not working for external gadgets and no errors being thrown out from the logs.
Steps to reproduce:
- Configure an application link only use OAuth authentication.
- Add a Confluence Activity gadget in JIRA.
- Press the Login & Approve button and click allow.
- Back to the dashboard showing the same Login & Approve button again.
- After click for a few times, it success.
- Then, try to refresh the Activity Stream but back to the same problem.
Temporary Workaround:
- Use JIRA Activity Stream gadget
- Enabled Trusted Application authentication on both applications
