"Create Decision" button does not work in Confluence Cluster version.

When you click in the "Create a Decision" button in the Decision Register page in a Clustered Confluence the button simply does not work, if you click a second time you get redirected to the dashboard.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Install a Clustered Confluence.
      2. Create a space and then create a Decision.
      3. Once the decision is created click on "Decision Register".
      4. Click only one time in the "Create Decision" button.
      5. Nothing will happen.
      6. If you Click a second time you will get redirected to the Confluence Dashboard.

[CONFSERVER-32768] "Create Decision" button does not work in Confluence Cluster version.

            For Confluence Cluster customers:

We are working in a new Confluence solution for clustering, in this new version this BUG was properly addressed and this behaviour does not happens, that's why is marked as fixed. Once the new solution is released an upgrade should address this.

Since we are still testing and developing some aspects of the new solution we did not release it for customer to download it yet, so we will have to wait until the new Cluster solution is release to get this fixed since the work around provided in CONF-31463 does not apply to clustered edition.

Once the new solution is released I will update this BUG.

            Thanks and Regards,
            David|Atlassian Support

For anyone facing this miss behaviour in Confluence non clustered version please go to CONF-31463.

In standalone version this is caused because the Workbox - Host Plugin is disabled, to address that you can either upgrade to version 5.5 or enabled the plugin.

Any comments or thoughts for non clusters installations should be added in CONF-31463.

            Thanks and Regards,

Hi Tim, thanks for giving feedback.
This bug was previously suspected to be a cluster-related one. But it turned out to be just another problem, not cluster-related. That means, with CONF-31463 already fixed, the workaround isn't needed anymore.

This is not resolved. What is referenced in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-31463 is a work around not a resolution. Also, the other bug does not appear to be related to a clustered install. Also as Ryan Goodwin wrote, that work around does not work.

Please provide a solution rather than a work around that may or may not work

            Hi Deividi,

            Good to see you too!

Already confirmed the behavior is described here:

            https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-31463

Confirmed this is the case in our production 5.3.4 instance as well. We have workbox disabled there also and this bug is reproduceable. So I tested this:

Brand new install of Conf 5.4.4 out of the box
            Disabled the 3 workbox plugins
            Create decision
            Navigate to Decision Register
Use Create Decision button on the register page
            First click does nothing
Second click takes you to homepage of the Confluence site, though URL that shows in browser bar is

            http://localhost:8090/?createDialogSpaceKey=TEST&createDialogBlueprintId=c019e37a-f373-4987-9fa3-bcbe58689382

Verified blueprints addon is installed, but this is out of the box vanilla install so should be working with the release. Would love a fix for this!

Hey ryan.goodwin, good to see you again :

Actually that behaviour also happened in Conflunce BTF, could you please check for the following:

            1. Check if the modules of the "Confluence Business Blue Print" are enabled.
            2. Back up and remove any customHTML/Styesheet or layout.
            3. Download the Confluence Business Blue Print jar file on the same version you have and install again the plugin via file upload (without uninstalling the current plugin).

Try the above 3 approaches and let us know how it goes.

            Thanks and Regards,
            David|Atlassian Support

            Hi Tim

Thanks for getting in touch. This is currently on the backlog of our enterprise development team. I'm unsure of where the team is at with the development of this so I'm going to do some digging around to see if I can get an update for you.

            Regards

Is there any update on this bug? This bug prohibits us from using any blueprint that utilizes the "Create from Template" macro. Functionality in the clustered environment is severely limited.
