Description
When creating a page in confluence through the SOAP API, confluence does not appear to trigger the event that links Jira back to the confluence page that exists in the U.I.. (the Jira issue does not have a "mentioned in" link).
Here is the steps I took to validate there is a bug:
(All of this was done under the same user)
1. Created a ticket in jira through the user interface
2. Created a confluence page through the user interface and mentioned the issue with the jira issue macro
3. Validated the Confluence page shows up as “mentioned” in the created jira issue
4. Created a new jira ticket (through the UI, and under the same project, i.e exact same permissions)
5. Created a confluence page through the SOAP api that mentions the issue created in step 4 (embedded the jira issue macro)
(I also tried doing this with the issue from step 1)
6. The confluence page created through the SOAP api with the embedded Jira issue macro does not show up as mentioned in the Jira issue.
(Jira Version: v6.1.5)
(Confluence Version: v5.4)
