I had JSON API working fine on the previous version, once upgraded to confluence 5.4.1 JSON is not working anymore.

When I use the attached code within confluence with a valid browser session, it works just fine. While if the attached code is run when there is no valid session the basic authorization fails, and I can only see the public spaces. I believe that the problem here is with basic authorization.
