Description
There are two types of confluence macro plugin modules since Confluence 4.0:
- xhtml-macro modules define macros that can be embedded straight into the xhtml through the RTE.
- macro modules define modules that can be used within a wiki markup block.
Most actual macros in Confluence have both forms. However, some macros, deliberately or accidentally, such as the Documentation Link macro, only exist in wiki markup.
Such macros still appear in the macro browser even though they cannot be inserted this way.
I assume this has been broken since 4.0 but I have only tested 5.0 so far.
