Steps to reproduce:
- Attach Calendar.xls to a Confluence page
- Insert > Other Macros > Office Excel > Specify the file name as Calendar.xls > Specify the worksheet name as ThisWeek > Click Preview or insert the macro to the page
- The result is Error rendering macro 'viewxls' : com.benryan.conversion.ConversionException: java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "3-2$C":
NOTE: The same issue is not reproducible in Confluence 3.4.9

Given the thousands of other issues we have open that are more highly requested, we won't be able to address this issue in the foreseeable future. Instead we will focus on bugs with a higher impact, and more votes.
Thanks for taking the time to raise this issue. As you are no doubt aware this issue has been on our backlog for some time now with very little movement.
I'm going to close this to set expectations so the issue doesn't stay open for years with few updates. If demand for this picks up, we will reopen the issue.
