      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Problem

      • Our Tools menu is overloaded with a lot of things, a lot of people have banner blindness to things there
      • Sharing is more than sending an email, it's about things like sharing a link to the page or even one day sharing a private URL to a page

      Suggestion

      1. Kill the Tools > Link to this page dialog
      2. Update the Share button to include a section "Copy link to page..."
        When you click on that, it would "accordion up" effect and give you a text box to copy the tiny URL link for the page
