Special Characters Entered into Link Macro Causes Link to be Converted to Text

XMLWordPrintable

Entering square brackets and single quotes in a complex link causes the link to be converted to a simple text string using the Link Text.

For example, opening the Link macro (CMD-K) and entering the following link:
      ----------------------
      Address: https://whatever.com/report/185146/events/#events/properties?unit=week&from_date=2013-08-17&to_date=2013-09-17&event[]=AppStarted&limit=255&type=unique&service=events%2Fproperties&chart_type=line&analysis=default&name=buildName&values=%5B%5B%22pr-001%22%2C%22string%22%5D%5D

      Link Text: My Link
      ------------------

Results in XHTML of <a>My Link</a>

Replacing the square brackets with hex codes results in the link being saved correctly. Alternatively, entering the original link in an HTML macro results in the link being formed correctly. The Link macro should mirror the HTML macro functionality.
