Typing creates new line at start of content

Edit a page. Type characters. They will be added to a new line at the start of the page, rather than just at the start of the first line.

Happening in Firefox and IE9 (at least). Not happening in Chrome. Only happens in quick-edit. Navigating straight to the editor stops it happening.
