When the Confluence Profile Plugin is enabled, it overwrites profile.vmd

      Confluence has a plugin named "Confluence Profile" installed and disabled by default in Confluence 5.2.3. This plugin feature is not documented nor mentioned on our release notes.

      Customer may enable this plugin without any information what it could do or what the purposes of this plugin. This plugin will overwrite Confluence's profile.vmd which is stored in <CONF_Install_Dir>/confluence/decorator/.

      Reason
      The plugin is shipped disable and should remain disabled. It is being modified by development team and it is currently on hold. When enabled, the profile plugin "overrides" the old profile page which is implemented as code in confluence core.

            If no issues already exist for the bug you describe the please add a separate issue. Doing this means that each ticket only relates to a single problem.

            this was introduced before 5.4.4. We had the issue with 5.1.3. Disabling the plugin fixed it
