Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a new template
2. Insert "Text" type variable into it
3. Save
4. Create a new page from the newly created template
5. Insert complete URL (example: https://jira.atlassian.com) into the text variable field
6. Click next

Expected and Actual Results:

Confluence should automatically convert the inputted URL into a link, instead it doesn't acknowledge the input as a link and keep it as a normal string.

Workaround:

Pressing a "space" or "enter" button at the end of the URL string will convert it into a link.
