Steps to reproduce:

1) Start a new page in Confluence
2) Enter a word
3) Highlight the word and click on the bold icon in the toolbar, the word should now be bolded
4) Now click at the end of the word to un-highlight it (ie to move the cursor to the end of the word) and press enter, you should now be on a newline
5) Click on the bullet icon in the toolbar, a bullet should now appear
6) We can not find anyway to now add text next to that bullet.
