      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      When adding external links in the left menu of the Default Theme the browser should open a new tab / window. It's very annoying it opens in the same window as Confluence.
      At least it should be an option for the space admin to decide for her self which solution suits her users needs best.
