      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Since control chars like tab and carriage return are important for some widely-used plugins (for example, Scaffolding and Table-Plus), it would be nice to have a possibility to visualize all control chars in the page editor.
      The same way as it done in MS Word and LibreOffice Writer.
