User should be able to sort their row similar to the sorting function in view page. This will allow user to easily organize their table.

Comment [ I really would appreciate this option would be considered, it would be very useful for several purposes.
All kind of manual sorting, copy & paste back and forth with Excel etc. is inappropriate for such a tool like confluence. ]

I get a lot of spam from this issue since I added myself a comment about wanting this. But this issue is closed. It might be that noone is looking at it.

I see there is a duplicate issue that is not yet closed for this but it needs more votes. So everyone pls. comment and vote on that one instead.

This feature is a must for me!

It's absurd that an EDITOR can't sort the table it created. I want to enter items as I please and, before saving, I want to sort them. How hard is it to understand this?

Well said Snorre – and I couldn't agree more.  Here's to hoping Atlassian's team will reconsider this!

Adding a "default sort-column/row" would be very useful indeed. It's one thing that readers can sort tables as they want after the fact, but it would be very useful if the table is sorted in a particular way by default, the information is presented in a useful way, but readers can manipulate it further if they want. This way, the editor won't have to artificially hunt around the table to find a good insert-point for new data, but instead just add a row at the end, input data, and the table updates itself.

I would like to have this feature. Since I cannot easily copy and paste a row and manually move them around in order, I have no non-work-intensive way to rearrange my tables. +1 to open this feature back up for consideration!

Agreed; it's just weird that it's not available and it's 'resolved' as "won't fix".

Is there no open issue that we can even vote on this for anymore?
