      Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

We would like the ability to set the default notify watchers setting on/off globally, to reduce the number of emails regarding multiple minor edits to pages site wide.
My site is currently undergoing some growing pains and inevitably page content will be edited multiple times before the creator is happy with their creation. This means that any watchers of that page would get multiple email notifications about these edits. (granted unchecking a box isn't rocket science, but it's all about key clicks...)
Would it be possible to implement this feature in the future?
      Thanks
