Allow user to decide the inheritance of Permission from Parent Page to Child Page

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

Right now Confluence permissions and restrictions are automatically inherited from the parent to the child. User should be able to decide if they want to let the child page inherit the permissions or restrictions from the parent page. With this feature user will not need to change the way the pages organize (parent /chlid) just to ensure that the permission or restriction is correctly impose.
