Editing a standard page in Chrome Canary shows only a 1/3 of the editable screen

      Hello,

Realising the fact that Google Chrome Canary (Version 27.0.1452.2) is only a development / beta tool for Google and it clients who like to experience a glimpse of what is to come in a browswer. But just in case you didn't know - when we edit a page in Chrome Canary, the editable window only allow 1/3 of the screen to be viewed for editing.
Not a massive issue - but just thought you might want to know and combat the issue before it slips into mainstream.

      Cheers,
      Grant

Chromium bug that specifically mentions Confluence: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=181432

I'm still looking to see if there's a separate bug that was actually fixed that resulted in it getting fixed in 28.x.

There's a work-around mentioned in that ticket (basically setting the height of the iframe explicitly). I'd rather not do that (and it would only fix 5.1 and up without patches). We'd also need to adapter it to handle window resizing.

Interesting - this has just turned up in 27.0.1453.15 beta :o

            It's still fine on Canary.

I'm worried this may get into Chrome stable with 27.x release (and fixed in 28.x).

It seems fixed in 28.0.1460.0 canary, presumably just a consequence of the bleeding edge

Thanks for the heads up Grant! I'll close this out since it's not supported but cc cpetchell and iloire so we're aware of it.
