New parent page field should not be left blank on moving pages

      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      When you move a page and leave the New parent page field blank, the page will be left orphaned and users may not be able to see it after.

      We should have some way to avoid users creating orphaned pages, unless the Confluence administrator allow this.

            Thank you for raising this issue. While we can see how this feature would be useful, we have no plans to implement it in the foreseeable future. In order to set expectations, we're closing this request now. Thanks again for your idea.
