BUG FIX: While Creating links in IE8, it drops to another line.

We think that the problem is due to the IF_ELSE IF css conditional comments used in the code to detect different browsers. From our previous coding experience we have found IF_ELSE IF css conditional statement is not a good way to detect browsers and control their individual browser behaviour. Its creating major issues intermittently on IE browsers, but it didn't happen on other browsers.

We will suggest to use different script eg php/javascript etc to detect browsers and assign with individual css for each type, version of browsers and OS platforms if required. That is the safest way to do from our coding experiences. It may solve most of the IE compatability mode issue.

I am opening this issue for voting so that it can be fixed soon.

      Thanks

            Hi There

Thanks for taking the time to raise this issue. This has been open for a year now without any progress. Due to the relatively low severity of this issue I'm going to close this out as won't fix as I believe that it better reflects the status of this issue.

If this issue is raised again in the future we will re-asses this status.
