Hi,

as we try to construct a Confluence-based knowledge base to assist our user support we encountered a Stack-Trace quite similar to CONF-19117. The headline's length is caused by the inclusion of appropriate error-messages.

Steps to reproduce:

1. From any page choose Tools -> Import Word Document
2. Choose and upload a file containing headings of more than 255 character length e.g. exception.doc
3. Select the depth at which the overly long headings reside in "Split by heading"
4. Hit "Import" and "Continue"
5. Great 500-page

Suggestions to prevent this error:

• Immediately after choosing "Split by heading" check the result's title-lengths and prefix any overly long title by
• Offer to change titles in configuration or confirmation step to fulfil requirements
• Change TITLE-column to "TEXT"-type (and maybe soft-limit to 512 or something)
