When using "@" mentions in Confluence, Dashboard All Updates normally display only the username (not the actual name). If the actual name contains any non Latin characters, Confluence then replaces username with the actual name..
Repro steps:
- Create an username.
- In the actual name, introduce a string containing non latin characters, i.e.: John Stærk
- Add comment to a page, with a mention to John Stærk and any other user whose name contains only Latin characters.
- Go to the dashboard and check All Updates. John Stærk is displayed while only the username (and not the actual name) is displayed for the other user.
