It would be helpful to be able to link to pages without having to use their explicit names. This is particularly useful if you are going to reorganize a space and want persistent links to any part of the page tree.

      i.e.

@home - to link to the home of the space
@parent - to link to child's parent page

          Form Name

I would like to point out that this feature could not only be used for navigation, but also for simply displaying the name of the parent page. If pages are organized like hierarchical categories (as they are in my case), this would be particularly helpful with page property reports, thus showing the parent category of a page.

We publish user documentation for thousands of users, many of whom are not overly comfortable with computers or the use of the bread crumbs to go back up one level or the browser back arrow etc.

Adding a BACK button on each page that is linked to @Parent would make it much easier for them. Given that there is already an @Home and an @Self and adding an @Parent would be such a quick fix, I'm surprised and disappointed this is not being done.

Thanks for raising this issue. While I can see how this feature would be useful, we have no plans to implement it in the foreseeable future. In order to set expectations, we're closing this request now. Thanks again for the idea.
