This will be implemented in the upcoming Confluence 5.7 release as part of the Confluence Data Center offering. This release is due out early next year - hopeful late January / early February.

This is being worked on. It certainly won't be available in the upcoming 5.5 release of Confluence. But hopefully will be available against 5.6.

We are in the process of upgrading our corporate system to 5.x and would like to have this feature available for a clustered environment. Please make this a priority.

We just made the switch from 3.5 to 5.1 in a clustered environment.
After all the pain by the mark-up editor removal and other plugin issues I hoped we could at least benefit from the new features.
But as the workbox is not available the whole new action item handling advertized in the Blueprints is useless -> thus the new features are worth nothing.
Please bring the complete feature set also to the clustered version !

I would like to see this implemented in the clustered version too. I think it is the first time I have seen an enterprise level actually remove features.

Seems strange as a customer that we would miss out on features by throwing more hardware at it.. This is obviously a simplistic statement, but I'm glad to hear that the focus is to bring all features to the clustered environment.

One of our focus areas is to try and ensure all Confluence functionality is available and usable to our Clustered customers. I'm afraid I have no dates or more definitive information than that at this moment.

This is something we intend to do, but when considered in conjunction with everything else we are trying to achieve I don't expect this to happen until at least 6 months down the track, most likely longer.

Of course priorities often change and I will keep you up dated on this ticket when there is anything to report.

I voted. We are interested in moving into a Clustered Confluence instance and are currently upgrading the environment to 4.3.x. The new Workbox feature is great, but we may not be able to enable it knowing that we would pull it once we Cluster the environment.
