I'm getting the below error for confluence 5.5.3:

"There were errors uploading this logo. There is more information in the logs."

I've checked logs and there is no entries, tried JPG, PNG-8, PNG-24 etc. and still no joy

I'm running on a default config with SSO enabled for JIRA, STASH, CROWD and CONFLUENCE.

Attachments storage: Filesystem:
/var/atlassian/application-data/confluence/attachments

I managed to change my logo on connected JIRA so it's definitely a problem with confluence.

^ I also came across this issue, the logo for confluence doesn't match the logo for jira.

I managed to figure out a decent way to get them to match:

• Create your logo for Confluence (the smaller one) first. In my instance, the logo was 215px wide and 24px high.
• Then for your Jira logo (the larger one), simply increase the canvas size (both up and down) to 30px high.

I spent a good 20 minutes trying to do Jira -> Confluence, shrinking the image down and adding white space to match, it just wasn't working. Did it the opposite way and it worked first go. Hope it helps!

Is there a reason why the same logo file is shown in two different sizes on the Confluence and the JIRA part of the same installation? Doesn't make sense, since it should be a unified header, shouldn't it? The JIRA part shows the logo larger in our case.

Hi bob.swift@charter.net, we don't have the favicon customisation feature in Confluence yet. Confluence used to inherit the favicon from JIRA prior to the new header being deployed. Here's the ticket for it CONF-8247. Can you file a support ticket for the disappearing favicon?

Thank you! Question: JIRA admin allows the setting of the Favicon and this works fine. Is there an equivalent Confluence admin option? It seemed that the Confluence side seemed to work ok months ago before some of the design changes. With this change, the old favicon for the site (if set prior to the design change) seems to be gone now, but not replaced with any icon (at least as shown on Chrome).

I totally agree with Johan. We will start using Confluence as an external portal for user manuals. Hope Atalssian will implement this minor change soon.

Is there any estimate when this will be implemented, last time when I where i contact with Atlassian it where mentioned about 3 months.
Any updates, this should be a minor fix for Atlassian that's important for your customers when we are using confluence as an external document web!

Our organization is also very impacted by this, especially by the fact that the JIRA OnDemand alows this feature but not the Confluence.
It is not professionnal having our Logo on JIRA but seing the Atlassian one when switching to the Confluence via the menu...

We have been working on this feature and it will make our upcoming release of Confluence (5.0). It's in the BETA of the release (which will be out in a couple of days) and I am hopeful we will be able to ship you this feature in around a month.
