Pressing ENTER in the middle of a text inside column macro will not create line break in IE8

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a new page
2. Insert a Section macro
3. Insert a Column macro inside the Section macro
4. Type any texts
5. Point the cursor in the middle of these texts and press ENTER. A new line will not be created

Workaround

1. Copy the texts to be put in the next line
2. Press ENTER to create a new empty line break
3. Paste the copied texts
