Before version 4.3, it was possible to use variables as the arguments to macros, when making templates. With the new editor in 4.3 this ability has been lost.

It would be good to get this ability back again.

This ability used to save me a large amount of work setting up pages. I wrote an application specifically targeted to take advantage of this feature, but unfortunately now to use its functionality I must edit each page anyone in my company creates. It would be a great feature to have again!
