If the image inserted into a page / blog through attaching from pc,
it couldn't show in outlook 2007, even when I logged in confluence with IE 8.

I founded the images source URL has been changed in outlook 2007.
For example, the image source link was:
      http://192.168.1.116/download/attachments/1245186/cat.jpg?version=1&modificationDate=1344266671018
      But outlook, it was different:
      http://192.168.1.116/download/attachments/1245186/cat.jpg?version=1&modificationDate=1344266671018
Outlook added "amp;" after "&" of the image link.
I doubt if this is the reason why outlook cannot show images.

Is there any solution for outlook to show the attached images?
BTW, is it possible to show images without login Confluence?

            Hi Keri

Thanks for raising this issue. the difficulty here is that the images inside of the notify mail sit behind the login of your Confluence instance. Unfortunately Outlook does not provide a way for you to authenticate with Confluence so that these images can be accessed, and without opening your instance of Confluence to anonymous access there is not really any workaround.

Mail programs that are browser based (Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook.com etc) do not have this limitation.

            Regards
