NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
We have a internal space which uses comments to allow internal users to discuss changes ,etc. We than copy this space to a publicly hosted instance and using a plugin hide the comments from users. The issue we have is the Confluence search is still displaying the comments to anonymous users.
Request - Allow space or site admins to remove comments from the search collections and hide them from non-logged in users. One suggestion would be to modify the space permission screen to add a checkbox to "Anonymous Access" section, allow add, remove, view. If view is unchecked, don't allow anonymous users the ability to see the results in search or on pages.
