In Confluence, create a bullet-list with multiple levels of bullets. Use italics/bold text, with different text colors. Make repeated edits/saves, and go back and forth from "rich text view" to "wiki markup view". In my experience, text in the list that is bolded and colored often gets screwed up, with all manner of bizzaro markup behavior. This has been driving me nuts for 6 months and I can't take it anymore!
