      I know this is already developed by 3rd party, but is only compatible up to Confluence 3.3.3, so I suggest that Atlassian takes on the responsibility to add this basic feature to attachments.

            2,600$ for the one feature I need On top of that I already have seen a handful of vendors slipping behind with their plugins - also plugins we paid for!
            In consequence we have decided to buy no additional commercial plugins except supported by Atlassian. It's simply too risky for a large enterprise and the pricing models.... I rest my case
            My take on this, is that basic features should be Atlassians responsibility, and only specialised and highly customised plugins should be made by 3rd party vendors.
            Attachment checkout I would consider basic functionality. Just my 2 Cents.
