Guiding Page templates - custom fields, etc..

One idea for future of templates in Confluence:

Rather than simply being used for page creation, templates should remain as a mediator for data entered into the page, throughout its lifetime.

This will extend to custom fields (like JIRA), which themselves would be indexable by Lucene in Confluence.
