Import Word Document of a docx file doesn't import the image

      This was working fine until Confluence 4.1.7.

      Steps to reproduce
      Workaround

      Convert the .DOCX (2007/2010 format) document to .DOC format.

            jufemaiz The fix in the Office Connector 2.1.7 plugin does not rely on the workaround of using .doc files instead, and this version of the plugin is in Confluence 4.3. You should be able to view images that were embedded in a .docx file. Please raise a support request with browser screenshots and an example of a failing docx file so we can investigate why the fix isn't working for your environment.

            We're still experiencing issues in Confluence 4.3.

            We have also now really annoyingly got this issue and it is really important to us too as we are undertaking a major Knowledgebase revamp. We upgraded previously solely because of the word 2007 import support so to now upgrade again to then lose this functionality is far from trivial to our end suer so please do make this a less trivial issue to resolve. thanks

            This is rather important to our team ... not only did we lose this functionality, but we are currently re-building our entire knowledge base since our hosted instance was wiped out in April. Please move this up in the queue. Thanks!
