DEL at the end of the numbered line doesn't delete the line break

Steps to reproduce
1. Type '# some text'
2. Hit enter two times (to get out of numbered list)
3. Type 'some more text'
4. using keyboard navigate to the end of the numbered line (after the "some text" entered
5. type 'and more text'
6. hit DELETE
Expected result: next line with "some more text" comes up to form the one numbered line with all the text entered
Actual result: nothing happens
Workaround: sometimes navigating out of the line with the mouse, then back in and hitting END helps - DELETE works after that. Sometimes getting to the next line and using BACKSPACE helps.

Bugs like this are terribly annoying. There are lots of them - editor is not doing what it is asked to do. It is just not that easy to come up with reliable steps to reproduce for all of its weird quirks.
