The following has been working fine in Confluence 4.0 - 4.0.4.

In version 4.0 of confluence if you click and drag within a column so that all the cells in a column are highlighted blue - when you release the mouse button the whole vertical column stayed blue so you could apply an action to it.

e.g. given

H1 H2 H3
C1 C2 C3
C4 C5 C6
C7 C8 C9

on 4.0 if I dragged down column H3 then H3, C3, C6, C9 would stay highlighted

Since moving to 4.1 when you perform the same action and release the mouse button the intermediate rows also become highlighted..

e.g. on 4.1 if I dragged down column H3 then after releasing the mouse button H3, C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, C7, C8, C9 would stay highlighted
