Currently while editing pages people can Ctrl+S to save a page. However this saves and closes the page that is being edited - understandably due to versioning.

Any chance of some kind of quick save function that will save progress on the fly and keep the page open? It would be really useful for content heavy pages the currently require the user to save normally, re-access the page and then locate where they were when they saved their progress.

I am aware that confluence auto saves/backs up pages however it would be great if the user had a small element of control over when they save their progress/force the auto save.
