Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
Currently the file extension a user specify in WebDAV Launcher configuration matters:
So if a user specify an xls to be opened with MS Excel. Then one day the user has an a spreadsheet attachment with a filename: xyz.XLS, clicking on "Edit in Office" would cause nothing happen. This is due the WebDAV Launcher is case sensitive to the file extension. Would be great if we can make it case insensitive so it will just pick up the current configuration set.
Workaraound
Either one of the following:
- Add another uppercased extension in the WebDAV Launcher configuration
- Rename the attachment filename extension to be lowercase.
