    Description

Keeping track of existing images: When in the editor, it is not possible to see the location of images that are displayed on the page. By location, I mean the page to which the image is attached.

This is a problem for technical documentation. Technical writers frequently reuse images by putting them in one location and then reusing them in a number of pages. It is now very labour-intensive to find out where the image came from.

Possible workaround until this issue is fixed, though very cumbersome: The image name appears in a tooltip when you hover over the image in edit mode. The tooltip also displays the image comment. When reusing images, you could put the location (space and page name) of the image into the comment.

There is a better workaround in my comment below.
