Description
Summary of Bug
When using IE9, if a user copies and pastes multiple lines into the editor of Confluence 4.0.3, the line breaks will not work properly.
This issue also happens on IE (Internet Explorer) 10, IE11.
Steps to Reproduce
- Using IE9, start up Confluence 4.0.3 and create a page
- Paste the following :
hello this is foogie woogie <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <title>Angry Nerds Documentation Home - Angry Nerds Documentation - Confluence Sandbox</title> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EDGE"> <meta charset="UTF-8"> <!-- Deprecated since 3.4. - The line breaks will not work properly.
Findings
This seems to only affect IE. When using IE9, this is the result of pasting those lines into the editor :
