Pressing the backspace key immediately after inserting a link causes undesirable behaviour.
Chrome 13 and 14:
After selecting some text (double-click a word), then adding a link with insert link, pressing backspace to remove the trailing link underscore actually causes all text after the cursor (up to the end of the paragraph) to disappear.
Firefox 6 and 7:
After selecting some text (double-click a word), then adding a link with insert link, pressing backspace to remove the trailing link underscore actually causes the cursor to move to the end of the paragraph.
Internet Explorer 8:
After selecting some text (double-click a word), then adding a link with insert link, pressing backspace to remove the trailing link underscore actually does nothing until you click it again and then it removes the entire link underline.
I often select entire words by double clicking them. This highlights the entire word (and, unfortunately the space following the word). Inserting a link into the selection causes the trailing space to also have a link underline. I found that when I press backspace to remove the underscore that the remaining paragraph to the right of the cursor disappears (Chome 14).
