Pasting a indented list item creates duplicate bullets

      1. Open up a new page
      2. Type the following: 
        hello world
* my point
      3. Now press "TAB" to indent the "my point" list item, so it now looks like this: 
        hello world
     * my point
      4. Now highlight and copy all the text on the page
      5. Paste it in the same page or a new page

      Outcome: 

      hello world
*    * my point

      Expected outcome:

      hello world
    * my point
