An image or macro can be inserted into autocomplete

      The same as CONFDEV-4167 but for images and macros.

      You can create an autocomplete before the placeholder request returns and then you get some funny markup.

            thanks for raising this issue. As this has been on out backlog now for 3 years with very little movement in that time I'm going to close this issue as won't fix. I believe that this better reflects the status of this issue.

            If the issue is raised again in the future we'll readdress it.

            This is closely related to CONFDEV-4033, where I'll likely be implementing a fix for the macro side of things.
