CONF-4289 asked that comments for pages be appended to the searchable text of each page. I suggest that this behavior either be removed or significantly improved. It's confusing to our users when searching to have seemingly unrelated text abruptly appended to each search result. It's even more confusing when the comment text does not include any relevant keywords for the search.
I do not have any suggestions for how to make this look better as I'm not aware of the abilities and limitations of Confluence's search library, and I'm also not a UI designer. But if possible do as many of the following as possible:
1. Make it clear that the comment text is comment text. Use colors, line breaks, delimiters, hover-text, etc.
2. Only show comment text if the content of the comment is relevant to the search
